Madi Diaz is an American singer-songwriter who blends deeply personal storytelling with a rich musical palette that spans folk, indie rock and pop. Raised in Pennsylvania in a home where music and art were omnipresent, she took to piano early before pivoting to guitar and songwriting with natural ease. Her journey took her through busking, self-releasing early records and ultimately settling in Nashville, where she developed a voice both intimate and expansive, unafraid to explore emotion in all its shades.
Her albums mark a remarkable evolution: History of a Feeling (2021) saw her confront loss and identity with a stripped-back honesty, while Weird Faith (2024) captured the tension, hope and self-questioning at the start of new love and creative renewal. Along the way she’s collaborated with artists such as Kacey Musgraves and supported major tours — including a stint in Harry Styles’ band — shifting from songwriter’s secret to front-and-centre artist.
