About Mackeeper

Mackeeper is the project of brothers Miles Cohen and Nick Harwood, two musicians who spent years assuming their tastes were too different to ever work together. Miles cut his teeth fronting rock bands, while Nick built a career directing visuals and creative work for other artists. When they finally joined forces, they folded those contrasts into one restless sound — rock's raw energy meeting pop hooks, rap-inspired lyricism and playful, experimental production.

Their debut EP, Rock Candy (2026), was recorded largely on the back porch of their childhood home in Maryland, and it shows: these are honest, warm-hearted songs about growing up, memory and family, revisited through adult eyes. Early single "Oh Canada" set the tone, all cracked-voice emotion and hard truths dressed up in a hook. The brothers' songwriting has reached the big screen too, with "Pieces of Yours" featuring on the soundtrack to A24's film The Drama. Live, Mackeeper turn that intimacy outward — a shared history between siblings, turned into songs that feel deeply human.
