Lucie Silvas, Union Chapel, London - 12th October 2024
I’d not heard of Lucie before, the gig was recommended by a friend. The set started off really well, I was impressed with Lucie’s voice and her enthusiasm, however after a few numbers hers and the band’s performance feel off and came across a very flat and ordinary. Then most of the band left the stage and things picked up again, and got better up to and including the encore were excellent again. Sam Wilkinson who supported Lucie was rather good, I really liked his voice.
