Big-hearted British rock powered by melody, spirit and unstoppable live energy.
Little Angels were a much-loved British hard rock band formed in Scarborough in the mid-eighties, rising to prominence with their melodic hooks, big choruses and energetic stage presence. Fronted by Toby Jepson, with Bruce and Jimmy Dickinson, Mark Richardson and Kevin Nixon completing the line-up during their peak years, the band carved out a place in the UK rock scene with their mix of swagger, sincerity and feel-good heaviness. Their breakthrough came with Young Gods (1991), followed by the chart-topping Jam (1993), an album packed with standout moments that helped cement their status as one of the era’s leading homegrown rock acts.
On stage, Little Angels were electrifying, touring relentlessly and winning over audiences with their infectious, no-nonsense approach to rock ’n’ roll. They shared stages with heavyweights such as Van Halen, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith, proving they could hold their own in arenas as easily as in clubs. Though they disbanded in the mid-nineties, their reunion shows and lasting fan devotion highlight the impact they made with their heartfelt songwriting and live-wire performances. Little Angels remain a cherished part of the UK’s hard rock legacy.
