Modern pianist who fuses classical compositions with hip-hop and electronic energy, reintroducing timeless melodies through a bold, genre-blending lens.
Levi Schechtmann (born 1999) is a German pianist who’s building a name for himself by blending classical music with modern genres like hip-hop and house. He began piano lessons at age seven, mastering works by composers such as Bach, Liszt and Chopin, but soon started reimagining them adding beats, modern rhythms and genre-twisting arrangements. His reinterpretations and original pieces have won praise from both classical music lovers and younger audiences alike.
Based in Hamburg, Levi.Sct has released singles including “Asturias,” “Technotude” and “From Elise,” each showcasing his ability to transform iconic classical pieces into something cinematic, energetic and fresh. He’s performed at venues like the Elbphilharmonie and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg and played in Belgium too, and his presence on social media (Instagram, TikTok) has grown to hundreds of thousands of followers helping take classical music into more contemporary spaces.
