Look out world, because alt country / indie folk just got a new champion; Julia Jacklin!

Having recently released her debut album entitled Don’t Let The Kids Win she has announced an exciting UK tour to promote the new material. See her headline at Green Door Store in Brighton, The Soup Kitchen at Manchester and The Bodega in Nottingham during February followed by headline dates at Louisiana in Bristol and Scala London in March of 2017.

Julia Jacklin tickets will not last for long so book early through Gigantic or risk missing out.

Growing up in the Blue Mountains of Australia, Jacklin made her first forays into music whilst still in school, joining a covers band that played the likes of Avril Lavigne and Evanescence. She later began working on the production line in a factory producing essential oils after graduating from university.

She began to enjoy critical acclaim following the release of her two singles Pool Party and Coming OF Age, both of which enjoyed prominent airplay on BBC Radio 6. She has toured relentless since March of 2016 and became a festival favourite after appearing at SXSW, End Of The Road and Electric Picnic. Her debut album Don’t Let The Kids Win was released in October.

Don’t Let the Kids Win feels very much like one of those albums that will slowly creep into the affections of a large number of people; it’s that lovely.” - The Guardian

On Don’t Let The Kids Win, Jacklin proves herself to be an unlikely alt-country heroine, delivering an impressive, if at times understated, album that shows she has enough wit and wisdom to fill up a canyon or two.” - The Line Of Best Fit

Julia Jacklin concert tickets are in limited supply so with the huge demand we expect them to sell incredibly quickly. Do not hang around as they will sell. Always make Gigantic your first stop for the very best selection of the gig tickets you need.
