Ethereal folk-inflected soundscapes that unfold like memory, raw and unguarded.
If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow Joanne Robertson below.
Joanne Robertson is a UK-based singer, songwriter, improviser and visual artist whose work treads the line between ambient folk, experimental texture and emotional intimacy. Her sound is born from improvisation and introspection, often bringing guitar, voice and quiet atmospherics into fragile balance. She has collaborated with artists such as Dean Blunt, Mica Levi, Oliver Coates and Sidsel Meineche Hansen — projects that expand her vocabulary and reflect her adventurous spirit.
Her solo output includes the album Blue Car (2023) — a collection of songs drawn from unreleased material across years, which she describes as archive pieces reanimated with intention. More recently, she released Blurrr, an album praised as her most expansive and fully realised work to date. Her performances often feel like a live exploration of sound and feeling, turning minimal arrangements into spaces of emotional transparency.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
