Scottish musician James Grant is native to Glasgow's Castlemilk district. He rose to fame in the 80s as a member of new-wave group Friends Again, releasing hit singles "State of Art", "Sunkissed" and "Honey at the Core".
Grant’s solo album output includes the titles Sawdust in My Veins (1998), My Thrawn Glory (2000), I Shot the Albatross (2002), Holy Love (2004), Strange Flowers (2009) and James Grant & the Hallelujah Strings (2016).
