Hutch are a Brighton-based quartet that radiate whimsical and vintage energy.
Hutch’s sound is often described as a kaleidoscopic fusion of jangly guitars, psychedelic whimsy, and angelic harmonies, with a childlike sense of wonder embedded at its core. They blend Toytown psychedelia, ’80s jangle-pop, and soft-psych aesthetics reminiscent of The Babe Rainbow and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
Their lyrics highlight everyday delights and natural beauty—rainbows, frozen lakes, and small joyful moments—as gentle reminders of peace in a hectic world. The band embraces light-hearted absurdism, optimistic escapism, and a vibrant, surreal atmosphere in both their recordings and live shows
