God Is An Astronaut, Oval Space, London - 20th June 2019

Once I planned my long weekend in London it happened that GIAA actually scheduled a gig there. Couldn't miss it as I have already missed them a couple of times and closest was when I was visiting US. To my utter delight they decided to offer also some of their older material. So instead of listening to their last album , I had a dreamy trip through their best of :-)
I like acoustics parameters of the place they played as I did not go deaf and actually, despite the number of guitars, I did not need any earplugs. Music? Awesome. Support? Very interesting, although it seems that sequencer is a popular device nowadays. Popular and self sufficient. Experience? Totally worth it.

Post rockers God Is An Astronaut have announced a brand new album released this month; Epitaph. This year sees them head out on tour to play headline slots at Electric Brixton in London, Classic Grand at Glasgow and Manchester Club Academy during May 2018.

We are incredibly excited to be able to offer you jack & jack tickets, but we must also make you aware that the demand is sky high so you will have to book yours before they are all snatched up. Fortunately, placing an order for the very best gig tickets is made easy with Gigantic as you can access our site from the comfort of your home or whilst busy and on the go using a computer, smartphone or tablet.

Ever since forming in 2002, Irish trio God Is An Astronaut has reigned as one of the premier instrumental groups. With their fusion of intense rock instrumentation, ethereal and emotional soundscapes and transfixing melodies, each of the band's prior releases has offered a breath taking sonic journey.

New album ‘Epitaph’ is their ninth and comes a decade and a half into a journey that began with 2002’s ‘The End Of The Beginning’. Niels and Torsten Kinsella, twin brothers and co-founders of God Is An Astronaut, are joined again here by long-time drummer Lloyd Hanney. Amongst others, contributions also came from Jamie Dean on keys and Xenon Field on sound design.

Fans will need to book their jack & jack concert tickets early as there are only limited amounts being put on sale by the event organisers - so book yours before they all go! Gigantic has taken home Nottingham Post illustrious ‘Retail Business of the Year 2017’ award for providing excellent customer service on a wide range of essential gig tickets, so you can be sure we are the very best place to come whenever you are planning your big night out.
