Gloworm Festival 2017, Clumber Park, Worksop - 19th August 2017
Daughter age 9 had a great time, it wasn't too young for her and she loved the free fair (I liked the free giveaways!) The parking was good and staff very helpful. Would like to go again!

We loved all the entertainment! Fairground rides where fab shame there weren't some more might help shorten the queues a bit also stopped people queue jumping. Didn't understand why we're paying so much to get it and fairgrounds from 5pm where chargeable. Didn't see anyone using them. Fairground went dead at 5pm. Car parking for some reason they filled up fields at the far end first and it was taking quite a while for some reason. Didn't see anyone on the fields guiding people. In the end people just parked anywhere. Toilets - more people checking them as majority of the time there wasn't any toilet roll and could of done with being tided up.

Was a really good day lots to do for the little ones brilliant that everything was included for the kids baring food, snacks and drinks within the ticket price my girl loved the pizza making with pizza express.
The negative points were
that there was only a few rides so waiting times for rides were long and there was no real ques so people kept jumping in front. Something to keep order to the ques is needed
Also the pizza and truffle making had to be booked in advance and the sessions booked up really quickly with a lot of people no knowing it even needed booking. More sessions and more options for what they can make would be great.
The layout could have been better such as all colouring and building and playing stuff together, meet an greet stuff together, store stuff for selling stuff together, food stalls together as it would mean you could focus on the bits that suit what your child likes better and see more easily what the options are for such as good.
Over all little expensive but a good day for the kids it's nice to be able to say yes to all activities they want to do without thinking how much is it.
Tip for cost cutting would be to take a picnic so all you need to buy in there is the treats like sweets, candyfloss, cakes an ice cream

We had a great day, the kids loved the dinosaurs and the rides, filled a full day with always something to do. The only negative is the workshops it did advertise you could sign up in the morning for the events but when we tried no one knew anything about it. They were not advertised where they were being held looked for the cricket workshop and even after asking nobody knew about it. This is a shame as could be a great thing for your festival if they were planned properly. We would come back
Went with my 5 year old grandson and was delighted by all the entertainment provided, especially the amount of free activities. My only quibble is that it was quite difficult to find a healthy (ie low fat) food stall but the noodle stall came up trumps.
