Glastonbudget 2017, Turnpost Farm, Leicestershire - 26th May 2017
I love Glastonbudget. The bands are simply awesome. The atmosphere is brilliant - friendly and fun. There's something for everyone. It's well organised and terrific value.

Another great Glastonbudget and the weather really made it this year however for me the line up seemed better on Sunday with back to back great bands. I felt it was a little flat on Friday and particularly Saturday. We also miss the breakfast tent that was there a couple of years ago.

Went to Glastonbudget with hubby, 12 year old daughter and her BF. We choose Glastonbudget as the girls' first introduction to a larger festival as they are of an age now where they want to go off and explore by themselves and lots of friends who have been going to Glastonbudget for years told us it would be ideal - which it was. Not too big that the girls were in danger of getting lost but big enough for them to have a sense of independence. A nice friendly, family friendly environment and lovely, helpful staff. We met up with lots of friends and just had a wonderful time. The best part was seeing hubby, who is still strictly punk, (at 50 !) dancing along to Tragedy - who do their own rather camp heavy metal versions of Bee Gees songs. Utterly bizarre but utterly brilliant. He was so impressed he said afterwards he would actually pay to go and see them ! The only word of advise I would give to people with younger families is to pay that little bit extra and book into Camping Plus as the main campsite is full of teenagers. Say no more !

Had a great time at Glastonbudget 2017. Good mix of acts. Safe, family friendly festival and not too big to be overwhelming. Toilets cleaned 3 times per day! Will be booking for next year. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
