About GANS

GANS are a West Midlands post-punk/indie rock band known for their driving rhythms, jagged guitar lines, and emotionally charged lyrics. Since forming in 2018, the band has carved out a distinctive sound that blends dark, atmospheric textures with raw energy, drawing comparisons to classic post-punk acts while maintaining a contemporary edge. Their debut single What you mean (2023) and follow-up releases have showcased their ability to craft songs that are both brooding and hypnotically melodic, earning them a dedicated following in the UK alternative scene.

GANS have also built a reputation for their intense live performances, appearing at venues and festivals across London and the UK. Sharing stages with bands like Shopping and Fontaines D.C., their shows combine immersive sonic landscapes with a palpable sense of urgency, creating an experience that resonates long after the final chord. With each new release, GANS continue to solidify their place as one of the most compelling emerging acts in UK post-punk.
