Ferocious Dog never fail to deliver and Friday night at The Hairy Dog was no exception. Amazing performance filled with passion and energy. Loved it and can’t wait until the next time!!

Exactly the brilliant performance I've come to expect from FD but as a first time visitor to the Hairy Dog I was unsure what to expect following recent newspaper headlines about the venue and the city council's attempts to shut it down. I have to say that the door staff were all very chilled and pleasant. Once inside there was a good choice of real ales which I hadn't expected and was offered the chance to try before I bought by friendly bar staff. The venue was a brilliant size for an FD gig, big enough but not so big as to make it feel impersonal. I had a great night, no bother, good company, good beer and a great band.
