Raised in the heart of South London, Eerf Evil (aka Live Free) is a rapper, community organiser, and cultural producer, best known as the co-founder of 'The Silhouettes Project'. Founded in 2019, the collective brings rappers, singers and live jazz players from across the UK together under one banner, reclaiming jazz for the working-class communities it came from and taking that sound to Glastonbury, We Out Here and Cross The Tracks.
His own music sits where UK rap meets jazz and soul, built in the room with live players and carried by sharp, hopeful lyricism, with collaborators including Kofi Stone, Mugun and Maverick Sabre.
