About DOSS

DOSS are a fiercely independent duo from Glasgow, made up of Sorley Mackay and Chilton Fawcett. What began in a bedroom studio has quickly grown into one of the most striking new sounds in the UK underground, blending pounding rhythms, distorted basslines and fractured electronics with Sorley’s unmistakable Glaswegian delivery. Their lyrics tackle themes including gentrification, addiction, precarious work and generational trauma, rooted firmly in working-class Scottish life. It’s an unfiltered, urgent approach that’s already set them apart from a scene often led by style over substance.

Despite being a relatively new act, DOSS have already supported Billy Woods, Sinead O’Brien, Fat Dog and DEADLETTER, as well as selling out multiple hometown headline shows. A breakout year in 2024 saw airplay on BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio 1, a live session with BBC Scotland, and their first two-week US tour, followed by headline dates across the EU. Entirely DIY and building momentum through sheer conviction, DOSS continue to attract a fast-growing following with live sets that feel as cathartic as they are confrontational.
