Donnie Darko's Halloween House Party turns an entire venue into the surreal, time-bending world of Richard Kelly's 2001 cult film. This is far more than a screening. Guests move through themed rooms filled with floor-to-ceiling audiovisuals, recreated film sets, atmospheric lighting and characters pulled straight from the movie, alongside live DJs, themed bars and a full showing of the film. Fans are encouraged to arrive in costume and lose themselves in a multi-room, 80s-style party built to blur the line between reality and fiction.
Since its release in 2001, Donnie Darko has become a cult classic with a devoted global following, drawn to its heady mix of time travel, teenage angst and 80s nostalgia. Directed by Richard Kelly and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, the film introduced the unsettling figure of Frank the Rabbit, played by James Duval, who makes live appearances at the party. Part rave, part film celebration and part interactive spectacle, it is a night for film lovers, ravers and pop culture fans alike to step inside the Tangent Universe.
