Don Broco, The SSE Arena, Wembley, London - 9th February 2019

I’ve been a fan of Don Broco since they started and remember seeing them as support acts at venues like the Barfly (now the Camden Assembly) and it’s incredible to have watched them grow into the band they are now and see so many like minded people enjoying their insane music!

Don Broco draw on a wide array of influences ranging from pop, electro and post hardcore rock. Released to widespread critical acclaim in February, Technology became the band’s second Top 10 album and first to break the Top 5. After selling out both their Alexandra Palace gig last year to over 10,000 fans, they look to the future knowing the best is yet to come.

Band members include Simon Delaney on guitar, drummer and vocalist Matt Donnelly, Tom Doyle on bass and singer Rob Damiani whose duties also extend to electronics.

Catch them at Cambridge Junction on Wednesday 22nd of August 2018.

They have already announced their plans to get out on the road next year, stopping to play at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, Plymouth Pavilions, Cardiff Motorpoint Arena, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and The SSE Arena Wembley in London during February 2019.

Fans will all be looking to get their hands on Don Broco tickets so be sure to book yours before they all go. Booking is made easy, as you can place your order whilst relaxing at home or when busy on the go using your smartphone, computer or tablet 24/7.

The Bedford band had been first started by the school friends before they went to University. But it was only truly formed in 2008. Trying a number of different names, including Club Sex and Don Loco, the band settled on Don Broco after Delaney broke his wrist whilst playing football.

In 2010 the band threw themselves into a relentless touring schedule, stopping only the next year to record their six track EP Big Fat Smile. The record was well received by both Kerrang! and Rock Sound. Later in the year the EP was followed by the release of their self-recorded single Dreamboy.

Continuing their exhaustive touring, the band were on the road by the start of 2012 before the announcement that they had signed to new label Search And Destroy Records. The single Priorities was released as the ink was barely dry which continued to see the band gain traction.

The debut album was named Priorities which stemmed for the titular single and was released on the same day as their second single Actors. The band continued their trend for heavy touring to promote their album.
This touring ceased in 2014 as they needed the time and focus to be dedicated towards writing the second album. The result was their record Automatic which was released in 2015. It features the titular single Automatic plus Superlove.

Artist Bio

Don Broco are proud to announce their new single ‘Automatic’, out on June 28th through Epic Records. ‘Automatic’ is the title track of the recently announced, and highly anticipated, second album from the British four-piece due for release August 7th. ‘Automatic’ premiered on Radio 1 and featured as the station’s ‘Rockest Record’ on Dan P Carter’s Rock Show. Don Broco have also just announced their biggest headline show to date at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on December 13th.

Making huge crossover strides, ‘Automatic’ sets the scene for the upcoming album with its dynamically singalong chorus, funked-up rhythmic backing, shimmering guitar grooves and lead singer Rob Damiani’s infectious vocals. The rock-boy swagger, synonymous with Don Broco in the past, has been electrified with a new pop influence that shoots the band into the stratosphere as one of the most exciting bands of 2015.

‘Automatic’ is the first single to be taken from the new album of the same name and follows the unveiling last month of the track ‘What You Do To Me’ as an instant grat available with pre-order of the album. Automatic " produced by the GrammyAward winning Jason Perry " is the follow-up to Don Broco’s 2012 debut album Priorities. That album saw the band rise rapidly from cult heroes to a major force in British rock music, selling out headline shows at London’s Roundhouse and The Forum. They followed the album with the ‘You Wanna Know’ EP in 2013, scoring their first Top 40 hit with the lead track.

Now Don Broco return as an even more formidable force with a huge crossover release that sees the band incorporating a vast range of influences into their musical melting pot " pop, funk, dance, rock and a healthy dose of 1980s New Romanticism.

Fans will get their first live taste of Automatic when Don Broco hit the road this summer, kicking off with their hotly anticipated performance at Slam Dunk festival in May. And as mentioned above, the band will also be playing their biggest headline show to date on 13th December at London’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton.
