Déyyess is a British alt-pop artist whose shimmering, emotionally charged sound bridges dream-pop, grunge textures and queer-inflected lyricism. Hailing from Canterbury, she first gained attention with her EP Claire and the viral buzz that followed — her single “Claire” became a breakout moment. Her songwriting explores unguarded moments of attraction, identity and longing, framed within nostalgic melodies and glimmering sonic landscapes that nod to the indie-pop of the ’90s while staying firmly modern.
In 2025 she released the single “She Knows” via the Polydor imprint boys boys boys, a track described as “90s indie haze warped through dream-pop shimmer”. The record followed festival appearances at Reading Festival & Leeds Festival and support slots for major shows, including gigs on the UK & EU circuit. Through her music and live performances, Déyyess is carving out a space that is confessional, cathartic and electrifying — a voice for those untold moments and unspoken feelings.
