London-based Desperate Journalist fuse dark post punk with edgy indie rock. Formed in 2012, the band members include Jo Bevan (vocals), Rob Hardy (guitar), Simon Drowner (bass) and Caroline Helbert (drums).
They have released four studio albums, including an eponymously titled debut record which dropped in 2014, plus Grow Up (2017), In Search of the Miraculous (2019) and Maximum Sorrow! (2021).
