Death of Guitar Pop are a British ska and indie duo bringing modern energy and cheeky charm to a classic sound. Fronted by Silky and Top Kat, the pair have revitalised the ska revival movement with infectious hooks, witty lyricism, and a joyful spirit that’s impossible to ignore. Blending two-tone rhythms with indie attitude, their music pays tribute to icons like Madness and The Specials while carving out a space entirely their own.
With huge albums including 69 Candy Street (2017) and In Over Our Heads (2019), Death of Guitar Pop have built a loyal fanbase drawn to their authenticity and sense of fun. Their live shows are a riot of energy and togetherness - a true celebration of working-class culture, good humour, and the timeless power of ska.
