Cabal is a Danish extreme metal and deathcore band formed in Copenhagen in 2015. Known for their visceral, doom-laden sound; blending black metal, hardcore, and industrial; they have built a reputation for bone-crushing heaviness and stark, dark aesthetic themes of trauma and depression.
After releasing their debut EP Purge in 2016, they broke into the international scene with their debut full-length album Mark of Rot (2018). They gained significant momentum with their sophomore release Drag Me Down (2020), featuring collaborations with prominent artists from Trivium, Polaris, and Fit For An Autopsy. This success led them to sign with the major extreme metal label Nuclear Blast, under which they released their third album, Magno Interitus, in 2022.
