About Buck Meek

Texan songwriter Buck Meek (real name Alexander Buckley Meek) is the fresh sound of folk.

Born in Wimberley on July 10th 1987, he began busking blues and folk numbers and playing local venues before moving to New York. There, he formed the acclaimed band Big Thief and rose to international prominence.

His solo albums include an eponymously titled debut record released in 2018, and follow-up LP Two Saviours which dropped three years later.
