Bon Jovi are one of America’s most successful and enduring rock bands, formed in Sayreville, New Jersey, in 1983. Fronted by charismatic singer Jon Bon Jovi, alongside guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassist Alec John Such and drummer Tico Torres, the band forged a sound that combined arena-sized hooks, heartfelt storytelling and a blue-collar spirit.
