Blue emerged from London in 2000, comprising Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan. Right out of the gate, they blended smooth pop and R&B with irresistible hooks—All Rise (2001) was their explosive debut, hitting No 1 in the UK and earning quadruple platinum status. Their next two albums, One Love (2002) and Guilty (2003), continued the success, producing UK No 1 albums and anthem-like singles such as “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” (with Elton John) and “Guilty” (co-written by Gary Barlow). Despite a hiatus in 2005, they reunited in 2011—representing the UK at Eurovision with I Can and headlining The Big Reunion tour shortly afterward.
In recent years, Blue has continued to evolve while keeping their trademark charm. After parting ways with Sony in 2015, they bounced back in 2022 with Heart & Soul, their sixth album, featuring the singles “Haven’t Found You Yet” and “Dance with Me”. With over 15 million records sold worldwide and multiple Brit Awards to their name, the band remains an enduring force—planning a UK arena tour in 2025 and working on new music to celebrate more than two decades in the spotlight
