Big Band of Boom are a ten-piece rock & brass collective from Birmingham, UK, whose sound fuses heavy guitars, swing and big-band brass into anthemic, live-driven rock. Their lineup includes dual guitars, keys, full horn section (trumpets, trombones, saxophones), drums, bass and vocals, and they’re known for tracking horns together in large rooms to retain a powerful live vibe. Their debut single Big Bad Voodoo / Behind the 8 Ball (2021) helped set the tone for their approach: bold riffs, big sound, and explosive energy.
They’ve released songs such as “Back To The Circus”, “M.I.A.” and their newer single “Energy Vampire” (2025), which combines catchy, singalong hooks with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Big Band of Boom are rapidly building a reputation for electrifying live shows, having played major UK festivals including Boomtown, Camp Bestival, Twinwood and Shambala.
