About BEX

Picture punk crashing into '90s grunge and you're close to BEX. Mixing riot grrrl spirit, alt-rock grit and the odd soaring power ballad, she builds her sound around two bass guitars, with lyrics that pull no punches. She started out playing bass and recording covers in her bedroom during lockdown, released her debut single "Tiptoe" in 2022 and followed it with her debut EP SCUM (2023), featuring the hard-hitting "SPYD4 K1NG". That release arrived alongside her first UK headline tour, which included a sell-out night at London's Black Heart.

Since then, BEX has been named in both Kerrang!'s Sound of 2025 and the NME 100, and she's brought her high-energy shows to Download, 2000trees, Boomtown and SXSW London. She's also opened for the likes of Nova Twins, WARGASM and Witch Fever. Away from the stage, she's a fully DIY artist who works across music, fashion and community, even making her own stage wear. At a BEX gig, the crowd is part of the show, so expect to sing, shout and mosh along.
