American artist celebrated for her powerhouse vocals, heartfelt storytelling and enduring influence across blues, rock and soul.
Beth Hart is an American singer-songwriter whose voice carries the grit, power and emotion of true blues and soul. Born in Los Angeles, California, she grew up immersed in music and began performing from an early age, developing a sound that blends raw blues energy with rock, jazz and gospel influences. Her breakthrough came with Screamin’ for My Supper (1999), featuring the hit single “LA Song (Out of This Town)”, which introduced audiences to her magnetic voice and confessional songwriting.
Over the following decades, Hart built a reputation as one of the most commanding live performers in modern blues. Albums such as Leave the Light On (2003), 37 Days (2007) and Better Than Home (2015) captured her fearless honesty and unfiltered emotion, while collaborations with guitarist Joe Bonamassa on Don’t Explain (2011) and Seesaw (2013) cemented her place among contemporary greats. With later releases like Fire on the Floor (2016) and War in My Mind (2019), she continued to evolve artistically, exploring themes of strength, vulnerability and redemption.
