Doors at 11:00 | Ends: 22:00
Ben Walker is a Scottish indie-rock singer-songwriter hailing from Montrose, whose emotionally direct lyrics and engaging live performances have rapidly elevated him in the UK music scene. Having emerged from home-recorded tracks on TikTok and social media in 2022, he has already claimed major milestones: winning the Scottish Young Live Artist of the Year 2024 award and performing headline shows at landmark venues such as King Tut’s in Glasgow.
Walker’s music channels his experiences with bullying, identity and self-expression into rousing indie anthems. Songs like “Sixteen” showcase his lyrical candour and vocal conviction, while his breakout live appearances at festivals such as TRNSMT and Belladrum reflect his ability to connect with audiences both intimate and vast. With a blend of working-class authenticity and spirited musical ambition, Ben Walker is an artist forging a fresh voice in British indie — one rooted in personal truth and ready for the next chapter.
