Pop rock singer Ben Haenow has enjoyed success having won the eleventh series of hit talent competition television programme The X Factor. His popular songs include such covers as OneRepublic’s Something I Need and the single Second Hand Heart.

Haenow began his career by singing in bands from the age of 15. By the time he auditioned for The X Factor he was working as a van driver. The Croydon lad attended the auditions held in Newcastle where he performed the Bill Withers song Ain’t No Sunshine followed by Rolling Stones song Wild Horses in the second stage before graduating to bootcamp where he was mentored by the one and only Simon Cowell. Haenow ultimate made it to the finals and won the entire competition with his cover of Something I Need by OneRepublic. His version would be released as his debut single.

His song Something I Need would hit #2 in the Irish Singles Chart and was followed by his smash hit song Second Hand Heart which featured Kelly Clarkson which was a hit across the globe.
