Lucy Spraggan, Engine Rooms, Southampton - 24th October 2019

Went with my 18yr old daughter. Had a brilliant time. Lucy comes across as a genuinely lovely person. She was very funny while explaining why she wrote each song before performing it. Excellent song writer. Involved the audience as well. Could have listened to her for a lot longer than the hour session she performed. Will definitely go and watch her again X

Artist Bio

Musical pioneer, Lucy Spraggan’s unique sound merges elements of hip hop, acoustic guitar and hip hop to produce a genre that she calls A-Flop. Emotion, raw yet energised, this young talent certainly has a bright future and leads the way of British music to come.

With the excitement building amongst fans, the demand for Lucy Spraggan tickets is constantly growing so you will need to act fast and book yours before they all go. You can place your gig tickets order 24/7 using a tablet, computer or smartphone where ever you are; be it relaxing at home or busy and on the go.

Spraggan shot to the fore when she became the runner up in the Urban, Pop & Acoustic category of the Live And Unsigned competition of competing musical acts in 2011. She was rewarded by prominent festival slots at Osfest and Go Connect in Australia. The latter was unfortunately cancelled and was given replacement dates instead, plus had a website engineered and a video shot for her single Last Night which received over 455,000 online views. Her debut album Top Room At The Zoo was released by the end of the year which hit #22 in the charts.

Having already enjoyed great success through talent competitions she decided to audition for hit ITV show after releasing the single Tea And Toast. Selecting to perform her own song Last Night, Spraggan was chosen by the celebrity judges at the Manchester auditions for a place in the bootcamp and saw her single rise to #11 in the charts. Following a slight stumble whilst competing, she was invited by Tulisa to perform one of her own songs at the next round and chose to give a live rendition of Tea And Toast which received a standing ovation upon completion. Despite continuing to be popular, she decided to withdraw due to ill health.

Following taking part in the competition she has released the two hit albums Join The Club which rose to #7 in the charts and We Are which also broke the Top 20. Her success has continued with further titles We Are and I Hope You Don’t Mind Me Writing.
