BASTILLE are a chart-topping South London band led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dan Smith, joined by Kyle Simmons on keys, Will Farquarson on bass and guitar, and Chris “Woody” Wood on drums. Known for their invigorating blend of indie pop and atmospheric electronics, they have crafted some of the past decade’s most euphoric anthems, including “Pompeii”, “Flaws”, “Of the Night” and “Happier”. Their debut album Bad Blood earned widespread acclaim and multiple BRIT Award nominations, showcasing Dan Smith’s cinematic songwriting and the band’s soaring, widescreen sound.
Following their BRIT Award win for British Breakthrough Act in 2014, Bastille continued their rise with a run of globally successful albums. Wild World (2016) expanded their socially aware storytelling, Doom Days (2019) offered a darker, introspective edge, and Give Me the Future (2022) embraced sleek modern pop with imaginative, forward-looking themes. With more than eleven million records sold worldwide, Bastille remain one of the UK’s most influential and inventive contemporary bands, celebrated for their emotional depth, powerful live shows and unmistakable melodic flair.
