Aldous Harding, SWX, Bristol - 24th November 2017

Great venue to see a band or artist. Aldous Harding was fabulous and sounded better live. Would definitely see her again.

Aldous Harding, SWX, Bristol - 24th November 2017

Amazing singer and fine backing musicians made for a brilliant show. Beautiful songs, powerfully sung to a receptive and enthusiastic crowd. A memorable evening out, though the sticky carpets at Bristol's SWX were less than enticing for future gigs.

Despite being based around a folk sound; the music of Aldous Harding is certainly not for the faint hearted. Drawing on the grittier side of life, her compelling work speaks of death, grief and love. The stark nature of her music reflects these themes and resonates in the listener’s ear. Her accolades are great and many, having received 4 stars from Uncut and MOJO.

She plays unmissable upcoming dates at Concorde 2 in Brighton, Manchester Gorilla, London EartH and Bristol Trinity during May 2019. You need to be there. Aldous Harding tickets can soon be yours, but don’t wait about as they are expected to sell quickly.

Following the release of her critically acclaimed 2017 record, Party, Aldous Harding has announced her new album out via 4AD in April.

With her upcoming London show this Spring long sold out, we are thrilled to announce that Aldous returns at the end of the year to play Roundhouse in London on Thursday 5th of December 2019!

Compelling, gothic-folk first from NZ newcomer.” - UNCUT
Soft chanting and singing saws add mystery to a beguiling debut.” - MOJO

The hypnotic voice and skilled guitaring of Hannah Harding was discovered whilst she was out busking. She grew up in the town of Lyttelton near Christchurch where she began penning her gothic lullabies. The working port seems to have drawn the singer / songwriter in as her music ebbs and flows with a watery feel whilst her hypnotic voice entices the unwary to drown. She has released an eponymously titled album.

Aldous Harding feels very much like a snapshot of a period in Hanna Harding's life that she perhaps now wants to leave behind. It's an incredibly sad and heavy record, but the trick is that the singer never lets it become hard work.” - The Four Oh Five

Aldous Harding is finishing her third studio album. The upcoming release reunites her with John Parish (PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse) with whom she worked on the acclaimed Party. Released in 2017, this second album catapulted Harding onto the world stage, featuring on numerous end-of-year polls and was named Rough Trade Shops’ Album of the Year.

Aldous Harding concert tickets will sell extremely quickly, so you do need to book fast or risk missing out. Stick with Gigantic for best experience getting the must have gig tickets. Offering great customer service on a huge range, we are your first stop when booking your big night out.
