Zach Templar makes ambitious indie rock with a scrappy, emotionally direct edge. His songs turn small, private moments into something cinematic, delivered with the kind of honesty that makes you feel like you are in the room with him.
After teaching himself to produce on a battered laptop and uploading early tracks to SoundCloud, Zach built his audience from the ground up, emailing playlists, posting online and learning not to care about looking stupid. That persistence broke through with 2023's "missin something", a dreamy, relatable track that has since generated hundreds of millions of streams and helped establish him as one of the most compelling new voices in alternative music.
Tracks including "Violet", "Give Me Your Heart" and "Desire" have connected because of Zach's vulnerability and instinctive melodic writing. His debut EP pushed that further, framing coming-of-age confusion, nostalgia and lost innocence through a more ambitious, cinematic lens.
