Xavier Omär is an R&B artist renowned for his soulful voice and exceptional storytelling. Born into a musically inclined family, he began his journey at the age of 12, recording his first song in his family's basement. Drawing inspiration from artists like Kanye West, John Legend, James Blake, and Arcade Fire, Omär's sound is a blend of traditional and experimental R&B. His collaborative work with producer Sango resulted in the album Hours Spent Loving You (2015) and Moments Spent Loving You (2019), both of which received critical acclaim. His 2020 album if You Feel was featured on NPR’s Best Music of 2020 and praised for its blend of traditional and experimental R&B.
In addition to his recorded work, Omär has showcased his talent on various stages. He headlined the sold-out Pink Lightning Tour in 2017, which included stops in major cities across North America. He has also performed at notable venues such as the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, and the Jazz Café in London, delighting audiences across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
