French Trip Hop producer Wax Tailor is about to hit the UK. The award winning music legend has rocked the charts of his home country and his appeal is ever widening to build an international audience. He continues his amazing work with the upcoming new album By Any Beats Necessary to be released this October. The upcoming record features the Southern Rock inspired track I Had A Woman.
Accomplished talent Jean-Christophe Le Saoût has many strings to his bow. After being the host of a Parisian radio station broadcasting from the suburb of Mantes-la-Jolie, Le Saoût became a founding member of the rap band La Formule during the Nineties. By the end of the decade he would be producing the band’s output plus Break Beat compilations and would work with the Swedish band Looptroop. He also started his very own record label Lab'Oratoire.
Le Saoût came to the fore in 2004 with the release of his debut EP Lost The Way which featured contributions from long term collaborator; singer Charlotte Savary plus Marina Quaisse, Infinite Livez and Big Dada. He released a second EP entitled Que Sera/Where My Heart's At the same year.
His debut album Tales of the Forgotten Melodies came out the following year. Other album releases include Hope & Sorrow plus the records In The Mood For Life and Dusty Rainbow From The Dark, both of which broke the Top 10 French Album Charts.
