Wade Bowen is the sensational singer and songwriter from Waco, Texas. He first cut his teeth with the band West 84 which he formed with his good friend Matt Miller. Following that band Bowen decided to strike out on his own and become a solo artist.
In 2002 he self-released his debut album Try Not To Listen which he promoted through relentless hard work and played up to 250 gigs in a single year. This dedication to his music certainly paid off and following the release of his albums Live At The Blue Light and Lost Hotel he started to build a name for himself outside of Texas.
Bowen’s breakthrough moment came with the 2008 album If We Ever Make It Home. Compelling through its emotional depth, the album explores his wife’s difficulties in living with postnatal depression. The record resonated with his listening audience and rose to #2 in the Billboard Top Heatseekers and #29 on the Billboard Top Country Albums.
He signed to BNA Records, as distributed by Sony, in 2012 and has seen his success continue to rise with the two subsequently release albums, The Give and self-titled Wade Bowen, both reaching #9 on the Billboard Top Country Albums. Hold My Beer Vol.1, his greatest success so far, shot to #4 in the Billboard Top Country Albums in 2015.
This year sees Bowen release his tenth album Watch This. To make the release of the record he will be playing stunning dates around the UK.
