Blenheim Palace is situated on the edge of the very beautiful village of Woodstock and only 8 miles from Oxford. The palace is the ancestral stately home of the Duke of Marlborough – the palace was designed and built by Sir John Vanbrugh and the park by “Capability” Brown. The palace is also the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, who is buried in nearby Bladon. The Palace was designated a World Heritage Site and is one of Britain’s greatest palace’s.
