The Bunkhouse is Swansea's award-winning grassroots music venue, built for anyone who wants their gigs loud, close and unapologetically independent. Since opening in 2017, it's hosted over 240 shows a year across two stages in the heart of the city centre, from touring bands and club nights to acoustic sets and spoken word.

In 2024, The Bunkhouse became the first venue in Wales to secure permanent protected cultural status through the Music Venue Trust's #OwnOurVenues initiative, a recognition of just how central it's become to the city's live music scene.
