What's On at Le Pub, Newport – June 2026

One of South Wales' most tenacious grassroots venues, Le Pub has been at the heart of Newport's live music scene since 1992, operating as a community-owned cooperative on the city's High Street. The 100-capacity main room has drawn acts from across the UK and beyond to one of Wales' most characterful city-centre spaces.

The venue features a fully accessible ground-floor bar, a vegan food menu and downstairs practice rooms that have nurtured local acts from the ground up. Recent visitors include Benefits, HMS Morris, The March Violets and The Waco Brothers, alongside emerging Welsh names such as Murder Club and The Nightmares.

As a Community Benefit Society owned by its members, Le Pub hosts live music, art exhibitions, film screenings, and free events such as its regular Drink & Draw nights, welcoming audiences of every background throughout the year.
