Ulrika Spacek are an alt-rock band from Reading, England, whose hypnotic sound and immersive live shows have earned them a devoted following across the UK and Europe. Formed by Rhys Edwards (vocals, guitar) and Adam Beach (guitar), the group expanded to include Joseph Stone (guitar, keys), Syd Kemp (bass) and Callum Brown (drums). Their music drifts between jagged guitar textures and hazy dream-pop atmospheres, blending art-rock precision with psychedelic experimentation.
Their debut The Album Paranoia (2016) introduced a band unafraid to push boundaries, followed by Modern English Decoration (2017), which deepened their sonic palette with introspective layers and cinematic depth. After a brief hiatus, they returned with Compact Trauma (2023), a sprawling, cathartic work that reaffirmed their reputation for restless creativity. Onstage, Ulrika Spacek are ferocious and hypnotic in equal measure — a band whose performances pulse with tension, texture and unfiltered emotion.
