Truck Festival 2017, Hill Farm, Steventon - 21st July 2017

Truck 2017 worked purely because of the incredibly strong musical bill and the positivity of the crowd. It failed in SO many other areas though - the new management is a vast corp called Global. The ethical/local ethos that built the brand is GONE. RIDICULOUS 2.5 mile queue of people getting in, poor comms about what was going on many times. Little work done to remedy muddy areas. NO help from staff when car park became an issue. Shuttle buses poorly organised. Over zealous security when checking for beers - this year (surprise) the corp stopped allowing you to take yours into arena like you could for the past 19 years...oh and then they sell you poor beers via 'click and collect'. Poor security of camping areas with widescale reports of tent theft. Little or no toilet cleaning occured on last day. Rubbish and recycling facilities poor and unclearly marked, garbage in camping areas third world levels. If the bill is poor next year and none of the above is remedied then I may be out, despite attending 17 or 18 of the Truck years so far....hope Global listens....

Truck Festival 2017, Hill Farm, Steventon - 21st July 2017

Some really good acts however, unprofessional setup. The toilets weren't emptied enough, the traffic management getting off site is a joke (letting traffic down against the flow) . No drinks in the arena.
First time at Truck. Definitely my last time.

Truck Festival 2017, Hill Farm, Steventon - 21st July 2017

Not Truck's fault but the weather really spoilt Truck this year. Layout was much improved and a good selection of bands. Mud was a joke and wr left on Sunday afternoon so missed Maximo Park and The Vaccines who we wanted to see. My only complaint about organisation was the state of the campervan area toilets on Sunday. Everone over full with excrement flowing out into the cubicles. That's unacceptable. Otherwise would have been fine bar the weather. Music was better than Truck 19, which was disappointingly poor.

Truck Festival 2017, Hill Farm, Steventon - 21st July 2017

It was another friendly Truck Festival. The music was, for me, better than last year some great rock music from young bands - the future is bright.

The food was brilliant and my Grandchildren just loved the candy Floss blowing in the wind - we all did!!

My only gripe were the toilets not being emptied quite as often as last year on the camper van site but we managed.

Truck Festival 2017 - Payment Plan, Hill Farm, Steventon - 21st July 2017

Overpriced, grotty beer and wine. As usual for any festival, not enough loos. Glamping and Club Class Loos - utter rip off. The showers used to be free at Truck. I won't be going back. Good music though.
