Toyah & Robert is an amalgamation of the considerable talents of wife and husband pairing Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp.
Toyah Willcox rose to fore in the late 70s as a major force in punk and new wave. She is best known for the singles "It's a Mystery", "Thunder in the Mountains" and "I Want to Be Free". Wilcox is also an actor, appearing in the cult movie Quadrophenia, plus Kavanagh QC and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Founder and guitarist of prog-rock band King Crimson, Robert Fripp is an experimental musician who draws on elements of jazz and art-rock. His collabs include working with such greats as David Bowie, Blondie, Talking Heads and Brian Eno.
