Shoegaze sensation TOY return with their magnificent third LP Clear Shot. Drawing influence from everything from mystic druidism, acid house, the experimental art punk of Throbbing Gristle and the sound of the experimental BBC Radiophonic Workshop, TOY look set for an imaginative and exciting new release.

TOY comprise of drummer Charlie Salvidge, Dominic O’Dair playing guitar, synth by Max Claps, Tom Dougall on guitar and vocals with Maxim Barron also providing vocals and bass.

The Brighton band was formed by the school friends in 2010 who moved to London and were promptly signed to cool indie label Heavenly within six months. Backed by Heavenly, TOY played significant sets joining the line-up for Field Day and supporting The Horrors.

Their debut single Left Myself Behind was initially given a limited pressing. But after all 100 copies were sold out the same day it was re-issued. The re-release coincided with their selection by NME to be listed in 100 New Bands You Have To Hear. Their eponymously titled debut album TOY was released in 2012 and shot to #48 in the UK Album Charts. It was followed by their second album Join The Dots in 2013.

A strong second album from a band in the ascendancy” - NME
Another exhilarating leap… ever closer to the pantheon of greats” - MOJO
"Dazed and somnambulant, but thrillingly attains feedback-drenched vertical takeoff” - The Guardian
"TOY get the balance exactly right here, perfectly mixing noise and melody” - Clash
