About The Raven Age

The Raven Age formed in London in 2009, founded by guitarists George Harris (son of Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris) and Dan Wright. They quickly established themselves on the metal scene with the self-titled EP (2014), and their debut album, Darkness Will Rise (2017), earned them attention—especially after supporting Iron Maiden and Anthrax on tour. Following that, they released Conspiracy (2017), followed by Exile (2021), a creative collection of stripped-back versions and live tracks. Their third studio album, Blood Omen (2023), continued their melodic metal journey, further cementing their place in modern UK metal.

Since their early days, The Raven Age have toured extensively, including over 400 shows across 38 countries and performances at major festivals such as Download, Rock in Rio, Wacken and Hellfest. Their blend of soaring melodic hooks, groove-influenced riffing and theatrical live energy has consistently won over audiences—whether sharing the stage with Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage, Volbeat or Alter Bridge, or headlining their own shows. With powerful musicianship and unwavering passion, they continue to rise as one of Britain’s most compelling modern metal bands.
