The Delines are a soulful country band from Portland, Oregon, known for their cinematic songwriting and slow-burn sound that blends Americana, soul and vintage R&B. Centred around the evocative vocals of Amy Boone and the acclaimed songwriting of Willy Vlautin (also of Richmond Fontaine), the band craft richly drawn narratives full of atmosphere, melancholy and quiet beauty.
Their critically acclaimed albums Colfax (2014), The Imperial (2019) and The Sea Drift (2022) have earned them a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic. UK audiences have embraced the band’s evocative live performances, with sold-out headline tours and appearances at festivals such as End of the Road and Black Deer. With timeless arrangements and a gift for storytelling, The Delines have carved out a distinct place in modern Americana—subtle, soulful and deeply affecting.
