About THE COURETTES

The Courettes are an energetic, retro-inspired garage rock duo hailing from Denmark and Brazil. Consisting of Luiza and Martin Couri, their infectious blend of fuzzed-out guitars, propulsive rhythms, and catchy melodies have earned them a devoted following. Their breakthrough album Back in Mono (2021) received critical acclaim, with tracks like "Hop the Twig" showcasing their raw, unfiltered sound. The duo’s high-octane performances are a highlight, with their live shows delivering a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm.
