Bromley Blues Club is thrilled to welcome The Boneshakers — one of the most exciting and soulful live acts in the blues world today.

Led by Randy Jacobs (guitarist with the legendary Was (Not Was)) and the powerhouse vocals of Jenny Langer, The Boneshakers have spent over three decades distilling the very best of American roots music into something utterly their own. Classic Rock Magazine nails it perfectly: "Poised between Detroit soul, golden-era Muscle Shoals and Dobro porch blues" — and that's before the funk and Louisiana swagger kicks in.

Named by none other than Bonnie Raitt, these are musicians who carry serious credentials. Their 2025 album Pull Up the Roots: The Berlin & Hotel Session (Gulf Coast Records) showcases everything that makes them special — raw, spontaneous, groove-heavy, and deeply soulful. Blues Matters Magazine calls their sound "Raw, soulful and groove heavy", and live, that quality is something else entirely.
