the Art of This is an avant-garde electronic collective that emerged as a spiritual successor to the pioneering British group Art of Noise. Their debut single, An Introduction, was released in February 2025 and featured the voice of Paul Morley, a founding member of Art of Noise. The track was originally included with Issue 122 of Electronic Sound magazine and has since been made available on streaming platforms. In May 2025, they followed up with A Thisette, a limited edition cassette that continues their exploration of experimental soundscapes. Both releases are available through their Bandcamp page, where fans can also find exclusive merchandise.
Their music is characterized by a blend of electronic textures, abstract compositions, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of sound. With a growing presence in the experimental music scene, the Art of This continues to captivate listeners with their innovative approach to music-making.
