They came to public consciousness in 2011 with the release of their debut album Cape Dory. A confident start for the band who saw their first record listed by the website Spinner in their Top 40 albums of the year.
It was followed a year later with second album Young & Old which saw them
Their latest record is titled Ritual In Repeat in 2014. It was recognised as a creative high for the band by the critics who were drawn to the sheer power of the song writing.
“With Ritual in Repeat, Tennis have crafted the most affecting record of their short career and purged the emptiness too often lurking behind the facade of similar artists, not to mention their own past work.” - Sputnikmusic
“When you put together the sympathetic production, the strength of the songs, and the power of the performances, it adds up to another great record by a band whose members are in complete command of their thoughtful, tender, and sneakily hooky sound.” - AllMusic
Their brand-new album Yours Conditionally is to be released later in the year and is expected to be one of the most exciting records of the year.
